Pricing, Taxes, and Duties

Prices are displayed in the currency determined based on your location. Where this cannot be determined, prices will be displayed in Euro (€). The currency shown at checkout is the currency you will be charged in.

For customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, prices include VAT where applicable.

For customers outside the EU and UK, prices do not include any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges. These may be applied upon delivery by the destination country.

You are responsible for paying any such import duties, taxes, or customs charges. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from customs clearance.

Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store your payment details.

If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer shipping to selected countries shown at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before you place your order.

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors outside our control.

For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or charges imposed by your country.

Risk and Title

For consumers, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you when you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.

If you arrange your own carrier or delivery method (rather than using our delivery options), the risk passes to you once the goods are handed over to that carrier.

Ownership of the goods passes to you only once we have received full payment.

Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by contacting us at hello@smaragames.com with a clear statement of your decision.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or proof that the goods have been returned, whichever is earlier.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

You may return a product within 14 days of receiving it in accordance with your right of withdrawal (see the Right of Withdrawal section above).

Returned items must be sent back without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the date you notify us of your withdrawal.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Items should be returned in their original condition. We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Once we receive the returned goods, or proof that they have been returned, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

If your order is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us at hello@smaragames.com. In such cases, we will provide a replacement, repair, or refund, and cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by law.

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us as soon as possible. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests, we cannot guarantee cancellation once order processing has begun.

Faulty Goods and Legal Guarantee

We are legally required to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract.

If a product you receive is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under Irish and EU consumer law.

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us at hello@smaragames.com as soon as possible, providing details of the issue and, where possible, supporting evidence (such as photos).

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return shipping costs.
