How to Play
Rules for 3–6 players.
Technically works with 2, but that's just an awkward one-on-one.

Objective
Survive burnout longer than your coworkers.
Play cards to make them lose Sanity Points (SP) while keeping yours above zero. Last player standing wins.

Watch Out
If you collect 3 Missed Deadline (
) cards, you're eliminated.

Remember
Whenever you lose Sanity Points (SP), you must say "I LOVE MY JOB".
If you refuse or forget, you lose 1 extra Sanity Point (SP).
Setup
Everyone starts with 10 Sanity Points (SP). Use SP tracking cards and tokens.
For a faster game, start with 7 Sanity Points (SP).

Remove all Missed Deadline (
) and Shock Event (
) cards from the deck.

Shuffle the rest and deal 4 cards to each player.
Players cannot start with
or
cards.

Shuffle the Missed Deadline (
) and Shock Event (
) cards back into the deck and place it face down in the center of the table.
Shuffle thoroughly!
Taking Your Turn
Choose a starting player.
Tip: Whoever finished work the latest.
Draw at least 1 card. You may draw up to 3 cards total.
The more you draw, the greater your chances of drawing a Missed Deadline (
).
Draw cards one at a time.
If you draw a Shock Event (
) card, resolve it before continuing your turn.
There is no hand limit.
Do one of the following:
Play continues clockwise.
Card Types
Every card has an effect written on it. Follow its instructions when you play it.

Workload
Make other players lose Sanity Points (SP).

Coping
Restore your Sanity Points (SP). You cannot exceed 10.

HR
Random effects that might help or ruin you.

Delegate
Redirect a Workload (
) attack to another player.
Play only when you are targeted by a Workload (
) card.
If an attack is redirected, the new target may also play a Delegate (
) card.
This keeps going until someone takes the damage.

Shock Event
When drawn, resolve it immediately, then continue the current turn as normal.
Read it aloud and ensure all players understand it before resolving.

Missed Deadline
If you ever have 3, you're eliminated.
When drawn, place them face up in front of you and continue your turn.
They must remain visible to all players.
They remain part of your hand and may be passed, stolen, discarded, etc.
When discarded, shuffle them back into the deck.
Elimination
If you hit 0 Sanity Points (SP) or collect 3 Missed Deadlines (
), you're out.
Shuffle your Missed Deadline (
) cards back into the deck and discard all other cards.

End of Game
The game continues until only one player remains.
If Any Doubt Arises
The game owner makes the final decision.
Just like management, their word is final even if it makes no sense.
